Bluefish Swim Club is one of many programs across the country who had to reevaluate training trip plans amidst the Southwest meltdown.
Josh Parent swam a 14:56.60 in the 1650 free. That was a huge best time for the Florida commit and would be #16 in the NCAA this season.
Also highlighting the night was UNC commit (2022) Aislin Farris of Bluefish picking up a win in the women’s 200 IM with a 2:18.10 pictured above.
Florida commit Josh Parent swam a 4:22.51 to win the men’s 400 IM. Parent has a best time of 4:20.94 from April 2022.
CS 18-year-old Natalie Mannion, a National Junior Team member, won the women’s 100 back in 1:02.19, touching just off her personal best of 1:01.87.
Some of the top age group swimmers in the Charlotte area were in action last weekend at the 2022 Martha McKee Open.
