The Mainland Regional High School boys broke two more national high school records in one swim Friday night. After taking down the short course meter 200 free relay record, the same foursome broke the 400 free relay record as well as the 100 freestyle record with Destin Lasco’s leadoff split.
Pending measurement, the Mainland boys’ 200 meter freestyle relay squad cracked a new Public High School National Record.

Reece Whitley cut over 5 seconds off his best time, racing to a 3:48.93 to take top seed for the men’s 400 IM. That time puts Whitley just outside of the top 10 all-time 15-16 boys.
