Swim Talk: Eric Ress Discusses Decision to Skip 2012 NCAA's

Today, we have an interview with Indiana’s Eric Ress about his decision to maintain his French Citizenship and to skip NCAA’s this year, as the two meets fall on the same weekend.

Interesting sidebar that we didn’t talk about on camera, but Eric’s sister Justine and his Indiana teammate Margaux Farrell have a smaller conflict. They are both French as well, and though women’s NCAA’s are the weekend before, there’s a chance that they will have to leave early to get to French trials. Margaux has an excellent shot at the Olympic Team.

The video’s a bit long, but stick with it. Eric has a great perspective on swimming, so enjoy!
