Shaine Casas showed out on Day 2 of the US Open in Austin. He started by posting a 50.24 in the 100 fly, not only breaking the meet and pool record but clocking his first best time in the event in over 3 years. He finished the night by winning the B-final in the 200 free, swimming a near-best 1:46.6.
