Reacting to a throwaway comment from the McEvoy section: I think the biggest meet this summer for the women is definitely Pan Pacs, but for the men it’s gotta be Euros.

What do you guys think is possible or likely for times the 50free or any other event in the Enhanced games? I don’t understand at this elite level in an event like the splash and dash to what extent drugs are going to make someone faster. Are we going to see some ridiculous times, or could this be a flop?

Really? How exactly can they go this fast just because of drugs? Cam McEvoy has put in massive specific training for years and his best is 20.88

Sounds like you guys are talking about the old Ryan Murphy. He’s not that guy anymore and the world backstrokers have gotten significantly younger and faster

Yeah I feel like he could best serve his country by holding starts & underwaters boot camp for these younger guys who don’t have it figured out lol

Based on his achievements, Murph is a swimmer who has earned the benefit of the doubt. If he’s showing up , it is not because he’s washed.

Didn’t say he was washed. Just don’t think he medals in ‘27 or ‘28 individually in the 50/100/200 back.

Best shot is to make the American team and stabilize the medley relay in case no youngsters step up.

Going forward he’ll probably be better at SCM

Coleman Hodges

Coleman started his journey in the water at age 1, and although he actually has no memory of that, something must have stuck. A Missouri native, he joined the Columbia Swim Club at age 9, where he is still remembered for his stylish dragon swim trunks. After giving up on …
