Go Horns Go! What an incredible team!

Lifetime Longhorn

Always great to see the good guys win. It’s wins like this that should take the headlines in March Madness.

Here’s the returning points analysis for next year for this year’s top 10 teams. This includes diving, and I count relay points lost too (eg, a senior on a winning relay would be -10).

Team, returning points, % points returning, points back from #1

1. Texas, 432, 81.8%
2. Cal, 253.5, 63.5%, 178.5 back
3. Michigan, 191.5, 61.4%, 240.5
4. Bama, 176, 100%, 256
5. NC State, 174.5, 87.5%, 257.5
6. USC, 173.5, 62.4%, 258.5
7. Georgia, 156, 74.8%, 276
8. Auburn, 155, 85.2%, 277
9. Florida, 151, 60.9%, 281
10. Stanford, 65, 31.1%, 367

For reference, this year Texas had 336.5 returning and Cal had 366. Texas will have the most points returning since Cal’s 449.5 points returning for the 2011 season (Cal won the following year).
