ODU Postpones This Weekend’s Match Up Against UNC Wilmington

Old Dominion University’s Athletic Department has announced that they are postponing all of this weekend’s home competitions in response to the National Weather Service’s Coastal Flood Warning. ODU, which is located in Norfolk, Virginia, has been experiencing flooding and road closures due to the developments of Hurricane Joaquin.

The ODU men and women were scheduled to play host of UNC-Wilmington in a home dual meet today. The meet has yet to be rescheduled. The University has also cancelled soccer and field hockey competitions.

The ODU women compete in Conference USA. The men’s team is starting off it’s first season in the CCSA (Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association) Conference.
