Irvine, CA – March 11 – Due to concerns surrounding COVID-19 in conjunction with the recent pandemic announcement by the World Health Organization (WHO), USA Water Polo is postponing this weekend’s ODP Girls National Championship and canceling next week’s Men’s Senior National Team exhibition series with Spain.
The ODP (Olympic Development Program) Girls National Championship, scheduled for multiple facilities in Riverside, CA, will be postponed until May 22-24. Participants have already received additional communication from ODP staff via email.
The USA Men’s National Team matches, scheduled to be played on March 19 (Tustin, CA), March 21 (Malibu, CA) and March 22 (La Jolla, CA) will not be made up. All ticket sales will be refunded.
Any changes to other upcoming USA Water Polo scheduled events will be announced as needed.
