(NLI PHOTOS): Pair of Fleet Swimmers Sign Letters to Swim for Arizona Wildcats

In the first recruiting class where the coaching tandem of Jack Maddan and Andy Korda have had a significant impact since taking over the club in the fall of 2012, the Cypress-Fairbanks Swim Club (FLEET) in Northwest Houston has a pair of swimmers who signed to Arizona in the fall signing period.

Cameron McHugh has signed her National Letter of Intent to swim for Arizona. There, she’ll join a backstroke/distance group and train with Arizona sophomore Bonnie Brandon, who has a very similar event specialty, with a 4:46.84 in the 500 free and a 56.20 in the 100 back. Austin van Overdam’s best races are the IM’s, with yards bests of 1:52.08 and 3:55.41, and is also a very good IM’er. (Read more about van Overdam’s commitment here).
