(NLI Photos) Mizzou adds two, Baker for men, Metzger-Seymour for women

The University of Missouri has added two more to its incoming freshman class, in-state signee Ryan Baker on the men’s side and Colorado’s Erin Metzger-Seymour for the women.

Baker, pictured above, is the top in-state recruit, a talented 500 freestyler who should have a big impact in the distance races for Missouri. His top times are 4:29.28 in the 500, 9:11.47 in the 1000, and 15:32.03 in the mile. The Tigers will look for Baker to be a scoring threat at SECs in both the 500 and the 1650. He currently swims for the Rec-Plex Sharks in Missouri.

Metzger-Seymour was the Colorado high school state champ for Ralston Valley High School in two races this year, and looks to factor in as a butterflier for Missouri. Metzger-Seymour, who swims for North Jeffco Swim Team, holds top times of 54.91 in the 100 fly and 2:01.08 in the 200 fly. She’s also a strong long course competitor and should thrive there for the Tigers.
