(NLI Photos) Markham signs with LSU, follows older brother to SEC

Versatile butterflyer/IMer Jake Markham of Cherry Creek High School in Colorado has signed an National Letter of Intent to swim for Louisiana State University next season.

Markham holds top times of 1:49.21 in the 200 back, 1:49.74 in the 200 IM and 49.89 in the 100 fly. He’s also a strong freestyler and should be a big help to LSUs lineup in multiple areas.

Markham will now compete against his older brother, Jared, who swims for Georgia, setting up an exciting sibling rivalry within the SEC.
