NCSA Qualifier Brady Wright will be joining the DePauw University swim team for the recruiting class of 2026.
I am extremely excited and proud to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic careers at Depauw University. First, I want to thank God for this opportunity. I also want to thank Coach Tracy and Coach Alan for believing in me and for making this dream possible. Finally I want to give a special thank you to my family, friends, coaches and teammates who have supported me along this journey and have shaped me into the person I am today. Go Tigers!! 🐯
A distance freestyler, Wright lives in Zionsville, Indiana where he swims for Zionsville Swim Club and attends Zionsville Community High School. At the IHSAA State Championships last year, Wright finished 19th in the 500 freestyle, touching in 4:45.46, which was about two seconds off his personal best of 4:43.99.
In March, he swam at the Indiana Senior Championships, racing the 200 free (54th – 1:49.78), 1000 free (7th – 9:54.23), 1650 free (8th – 16:32.49), and the 200 fly (27th – 1:59.59)

DePauw University is a Division III school that competes in the North Coast Conference, where their men’s team finished 6th at last year’s Conference Championships.
Wright will be a huge addition to the program, making a significant impact from the moment he steps on campus. Last season, he would have had the 4th fastest 200 free time, 2nd fastest 500 free time and fastest 1650 time on the team.
He will also be a point scorer at conference, with his 200 free and 500 free both ranking in the top 16 last year and his 1650 free placing him 8th.
