For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Eugene, Oregon’s Nathan Knobelspiesse has committed to swim and study at Colorado Mesa University beginning in the fall of 2025.

“I am excited to announce my commitment to swim at Colorado Mesa University. I want to thank my family, friends, and coaches for the support they have given me.”

Knobelspiesse swims year-round with Team Eugene Aquatics and specializes in IM and fly. He graduated from Sheldon High School, where he was a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American, in 2024. Knobelspiesse will join the Mavericks in the class of 2029 with Torsten Hokanson, Alix Perras, Marcus Pineiro, Micah Moore, and Ian Spooner. His times would have scored at the 2025 RMAC Championships in the ‘A’ finals of the 200 IM, 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 fly, 200 breast, and 200 back, and the ‘B’ finals of the 100 breast and 100 back.
