B-Town Brazadas Swim Club is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Senior Coach to help lead and grow our rapidly expanding USA Swimming affiliated program in Bakersfield, California.

This is a unique opportunity to join a young and fast-growing organization from the ground up while working in a brand-new, state-of-the-art 50-meter aquatic center at East Side Aquatic Center.

The Head Senior Coach will primarily lead our B-Team training division, serving high school-aged athletes, while also supporting broader organizational growth, Masters programming, and community engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily training sessions for B-Team athletes
• Design and implement seasonal training plans
• Prepare athletes for championship-level competition
• Provide technical instruction, race strategy, and athlete feedback
• Coach swim meets and support athlete progression
• Coach 2–3 Masters workouts weekly
• Support additional training groups as needed
• Assist with clinics, camps, outreach events, and community engagement
• Help support Swim School and Swim League programming
• Collaborate with staff on overall program development and culture

Qualifications:
• Minimum 7–8 years of competitive swim coaching experience
• Senior-level coaching experience preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of stroke mechanics and training methodology
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Current USA Swimming certifications or ability to obtain prior to hire
• College degree preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary range: $70,000 – $80,000 annually
• Higher compensation may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates
