Columbia Aquatics Association- Part-Time Coach

Coaches at Columbia Aquatics Association will lead or assist their assigned practice groups with running workouts aligned with the vision of the Head Coach and full-time coaching staff. Coaches work practice hours each week and attend on average one swim meet per month on weekends. Some coaches have additional responsibilities with completing team meet entries and sending group communication to parents. Coaches will need to be current or become current with all USA Swimming Certifications, including Safety Training for Coaches and Athlete Protection Training. All coaches must be able to pass a USA Swimming background check.

The Columbia Aquatics Association (CAA) or Columbia Clippers is seeking part-time assistant coaches to work across all age groups. CAA consists of roughly 400 swimmers ranging from six years old through high school athletes. Our program consists of 13 training groups based on the swimmers’ age and ability level.

We are currently hiring for the 2026-2027 season and mainly seeking coaches to lead our 11-12, 13-14, and 15 & over training groups. Ideal candidates would be able to commit to the season in its entirety (September 2026 through July 2027). Applicants with previous swimming/coaching experience are strongly preferred as we aim to create a safe and fun atmosphere in which to be competitive.
