The 2026 Commonwealth Games are set to kick off on Friday from Glasgow, Scotland, with six days of racing featuring some of the world’s top swimmers, even with the late withdrawal of Kaylee McKeown.
The meet will feature four reigning world champions, and 13 returning Commonwealth champions who will be looking to defend their titles.

HOW TO WATCH
- Canadian viewers will be able to stream live daily coverage on the CBC website and the CBC Sports app. There are six daily streaming feeds, so expect one to be solely dedicated to swimming coverage during each session.
- UK viewers can watch more than 600 hours of live Commonwealth Games coverage on TNT Sports and HBO Max. Dedicated live event coverage is available on TNT Sports 3 and TNT Sports 4.
- S4C will provide Welsh language viewing having acquired live rights for the first time
- Australian viewers can stream the Games on the Seven Network, and Sky New Zealand and TV3 will provide near-round-the-clock viewing for New Zealand
- Viewers across Asia can tune in to the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union and their public broadcasting partners of RTM Malaysia (Malaysia), RTB Brunei (Brunei), and MediaCorp (Singapore)
- TVMS and SuperSport will stream to the majority of the African Continent, while the public broadcaster SABC will be available in South Africa
- U.S. viewers can watch on BeIN Sports
- European coverage will be provided by Warner Bros. Discovery through their platforms such as EuroSport and HBO Max
- Sony Pictures Network will be the streaming service in India
- Pasifika TV and their associated local broadcasters will bring the Games to the Pacific Islands
- RushSports will provide viewers in the Caribbean with tailored broadcasting
