Assembling by far the greatest training group in the world but not being able to assemble one person with a camera is confusing.
Bob can get an Olympic finalist from Turkey to commit to training in Texas but he can’t find someone to point a camera at the pool. Hmm.
Not sure it is his call, had same problem with Eddie. Not sure why so many teams hate promoting their own sport but disappointing
You know, I guess looking back on the ones I would have been able to watch, I never did get to watch Texas at their midseason invite when it was at home but I would when they went to Minnesota. That makes sense
I think it has something to do with who owns the broadcasting rights , longhorn network?
I’m curious as to what the reasoning is to not stream midseason at all. Weird to think that we got an AR last year from Maurer that has no video and maybe a hundred to two hundred people have ever seen.
It’s still shocking to me that there’s no video around of Phelps’ first WR, and that was 2001. An AR at a pretty major meet with no extant video in 2024-25 is just nuts.
Today is your lucky day.

wait i’m an idiot. this is from world champs not trials. my bad
😂 Appreciate the thought nevertheless. Even that WR seems like it was tough to find for years.
wait my bad. that’s from WC not trials.
They do have exclusive streaming rights of Texas athletics. I don’t understand why the university wouldn’t want to showcase their own invite.
The Longhorn Network does not want to show the University of Texas losing to Stanford University.
Longhorn Network was the problem, at least when Eddie was there.
Happy mid-season invite week to all who celebrate!
