What about Caeleb Dressel?

He retired.

I think Kobe should have retired before Caeleb.
I’ve never been a Kobe fan but it’s sad to see such a star close a career in that way in a very weak team.
Very different about Caeleb who is still very young, had a successful summer and was destined for a brilliant future on sprint. And his last meet with Florida a few days ago was great. He could have at least retire after Rio. Very brutal, unexpected and incomprehensible decision.

Ok. I’ve investigated and finally found a trace of Mr Dressel.
And it can explain his decision.
Looks like he has transformed.

But he could have retired after Rio.
Too early.

Surprising to not see Katie Ledecky considering she also doesn’t swim at “Duel in the pool”.
No other meet until January at Austin GP and all for training?
Or maybe the Tom Dolan Invitational mid December, where she used to swim every year as a local age grouper?
Or simply she had not still confirmed her presence in Federal Way but will be there.

Talking about the Federal Way pool, I remember that Missy Franklin has always been very successful in that pool. whether it was as a very young age grouper, in the junior ranks or more recently in college.

However, finals at 6 PM, Pacific time…. 🙄
6 PM + 9 hours = 3 AM for me
Hopefully there will be some interesting NBA matches next week to stay awake.
