DART Teammates Kozlowski and Mitchell Opt for In-State LMU and CSU Eas

Two DART (Davis Arden Hills Racing Team) swimmers have made their intentions public this week: Lanna Kozlowski has given a verbal commitment to Loyola Marymount University, while Abby Mitchell has chosen to compete for Cal State University East Bay.LMU_w_Kozlowski


Kozlowski specializes in distance freestyle. Swimming for Davis Senior High School at the 2015 Sac-Joaquin Section Championships, Kozlowski scored 12th in the 500 free and 14th in the 200 free. Her best SCY times come from the 2015 Juanita Allington Memorial meet last February:

  • 500 free – 5:08.97
  • 1000 free – 10:36.94
  • 1650 free – 17:52.69

CSU East Bay_w_Mitchell


Mitchell specializes in middle distance free. In addition to DART, she competes for Vacaville High School, and placed 15th in the 200 free at the Sac-Joaquin Section meet last May. Her best times are:

  • 100 free – 55.41
  • 200 free – 1:58.16
  • 500 free – 5:27.27

Mitchell and Kozlowski will meet up again next year, as both LMU and CSU East Bay compete in the Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference (PCSC).
