College Swim Meets You Can Watch This Week

This week of college swimming has some exciting racing ahead, including much anticipated dual meets between Virginia and Florida and Texas and Alabama. You can see our full preview of college meets this week here.

A few schools are also racing at the first stop of the World Aquatics World Cup in Carmel, which will be short course meters and will feature some of the best swimmers in the world. That meet will be streamed on Peacock and NBC in the United States. A full “How to Watch” article for all the countries is coming soon.

A few college only meets will be streamed as well including the Texas vs Alabama meet which you can watch on the SEC+ Network at 12 pm on Friday.

Update: UVA will be live streaming their meet with Florida on their Instagram Friday, October 10th.

Note: This list is likely not comprehensive, and some networks might add events later in the week. Many conferences will also stream meets on their individual sites.

We will try to add live events as we find them. If you know of another meet being streamed, please comment below so we can add it.

Texas-Bama is poorly lit, from a bad angle, with no clock and no audio.

So Virginia/Florida is only for friends and family with no livestream? This sport doesn’t want to grow

Florida has steadfastly refused to livestream meets (and, historically, even do live results). They claim that the natatorium doesn’t have wifi to support it, which can’t possibly be true. If it is somehow true…it would not be an expensive fix, even by swimming’s budgetary limits.

Kind of aligns with everything the Florida culture has always been toward the outside world/media.

If that’s the case, I hope they get smoked by UVA men/women. I’m a big fan of Liendo and J Smith (when he was there) but go Wahoos!

There is mounting evidence to support this statement.

I think UVA (and other top ranked programs) should only go to away dual meets where there is a commitment to stream the meet. Doesn’t seem like an unreasonable ask in 2025.

Its in the same building as the basketball court. There is no way there isn’t good enough wifi.

Yeah that never made sense to me. Even if there wasn’t, it’s not like running cables is that expensive…

Arizona State and Virginia are for sure very very high on that list. Tennessee’s support staff also does a great job with these kinds of things and seem deeply invested in the program.

It’s funny because sometimes the coaches love it and the administrators don’t, and sometimes it’s coach-driven, but the outcome is perceived as the same.

Sarcasm? Or is NJIT something ‘big time’ I fail to recognize. What is NJIT?

New Jersey Institute of Technology. Not big time.

I mean, they’re big time in at least a couple senses:

1) They figured out how to save their team from getting cut
2) Engineering
