  2. 20.88, Gretchen Walsh (2025 NCAAs)
  3. 21.07, Gretchen Walsh (2025 Eddie Reese Showdown)

  5. 21.51, Claire Curzan (2026 NCAAs)

Curzan sits behind former Virginia teammate now as the #2 performer all-time during a 50 fly split. Coming into today, Curzan’s best 50 fly split was a 21.75 that she swam last month at the 2026 ACC Championships.

This year marks the first season in which Curzan has swam the fly leg of the 200 medley relay during championship season. As a freshman with Stanford, Curzan led off on the backstroke leg. Last year with Virginia, Curzan also swam the backstroke leg during championship season.

No other swimmer in the field tonight split sub-22 seconds on the fly split. Stanford’s Gigi Johnson had the 2nd fastest split of the field with a 22.14.

weber gets more on my nerves everytime she swims like every team in the top 5 had a sub 26 and she went 26.4 like a half second off from every other breastroker in the top 5 is just embarassing for UVA to even add her on the relay
