Junior Kelci Abernethy (Chandler, Ariz.) won her second consecutive Northeast Conference Diver of the Week award, the league announced Monday.
Abernethy continued the great start to her 2017-18 campaign when she took home another victory in the 3-meter dive against Bucknell, finishing with a score of 259.88. She also finished in second in the 1-meter dive portion of the meet, totaling a score of 232.80.
She won consecutive Diver of the Week awards for the second time in her career, with the other time coming when she won four in a row as a freshman.
Abernethy leads her Bulldogs squad against Providence in the diving portion of the meet between the Rhode Island rivals on Wednesday night at 7:15 p.m. at Brown University’s Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.
