2014 Junior Pan Pacific Championships.  However, she did not final in any event

The 2015 Fina World Junior Swimming Championships is where Cook made herself known. She won Gold in the 400M Freestyle, setting a new Championship Record with a time of 4:06.17. She also broke the Championship Record in the 200M Freestyle with her lead off split in the 4×200 Free Relay. Cook also won silver in the 200M Butterfly.

In October of 2015, Cook was named Western Australia Institute of Sport’s Junior Athlete of the Year.

2016 Rio Olympics

The youngest swimmer on the Australian Olympic Team, Cook claimed sixth place in the 400M Freestyle with a time of 4:05.30, just a little slower than her prelim swim of 4:04.36. The youngster also competed in the 800M Free, placing 20th.
