Daniel Has been swimming since he was a young child in Peters Township PA. In high school Dan was a three time PIAA AAA state championship qualifier in a total of five different events. He was a high school all American as a member of the schools medley relay team. In 2013 Dan Committed to Westminster College.
In his freshman year at Westminster College Dan saw great success. He saw a drops in two of his individuals at the Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) championship meet where he took first place in both the 200 and 400 Individual medleys as well as a second place in the 200 backstroke in which he fell short of beating his own teammate, Steven Brooks. Along with his individual success Dan also competed on the 400, and 800 freestyle relays both of which took first place. Dan was named First team All-Conference as well as Rookie of the year for all of Westminster Athletics in 2014.
In his sophomore year Dan again did very well when the end of the year meets rolled around. He posted a best time in his 200 individual medley at the Presidents Athletic Conference championship meet taking third. He also collected a third place in the 200 backstroke and a second place in the 400 individual medley helping the team win its second championship in three years. His efforts earned him a place on the first team All-Conference for the second year in a row.
Dan is a media art major at Westminster college. He plans to have a future in photography and media packaging. Dan also has two older brothers one both of which swam, one for Kenyon College and the other for Westminster College.
