Behind the Scenes with Northwestern Women at Big Tens

The Northwestern women’s swimming & diving team has a new head coach and new momentum in the 2018-2019 season. While the Wildcats finished in the same position, 7th, at Big Tens this year as they did last year (and scored fewer points), but that’s a hold of serve after graduating a big senior class last season.

Below, sophomore Mel Melnick has put together a behind-the-scenes look as the Northwestern women prepared for and competed at the Big Ten Championships.

A pair of Northwestern swimmers, freshman Miriam Guevara (52.20 – 100 fly) and sophomore Calypso Sheridan (qualified in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 200 breast) will race at the NCAA Championships from February 20th-23rd.
