ACC Swimmer of the Meet Tanja Kylliainen Focused on Staying in Her Own Lane

Louisville’s Tanja Kylliainen was named the 2015 ACC Women’s Swimming & Diving Swimmer of the Championship on Saturday after taking tough wins in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 100 fly.

Kylliainen let out some clues about what she might have left for the upcoming NCAA Championships, including hinting that she wasn’t necessarily racing full-bore in the 400 IM.

The Finnish international also talks about how she’s learned to focus on her own race and not worry about what’s going on around her.
