Everyone in Minnesota AA swimming and diving is still chasing Edina.

For the third year in a row, the seventh time in the last eight years, and the 18th time overall, Edina captured the state championship, finishing 28 points ahead of runner-up Minnetonka.

Edina relied on depth to get it done, overcoming the lack of multiple individual victories  with 14 top-eight finishes. The team swept 2nd through 4th in the 1-meter diving event as Edward Frey, Niko Yannopoulos and Kingston Kavati went 2-3-4.

Pengxu Lor of Champlin Park claimed the 1-meter diving title with 536.30 points.

The lone individual win for Edina came from senior Patrick Curran in the 100 back. A Boston University commit, Curren claimed the title in a personal best time of 47.97.

The individual standouts were Rochester Mayo sophomore Kai Joyner and St. Cloud Crush senior Micah Davis.
