Maurice Grabowski made history for the Lynn University men as he won the program’s first ever national title. Grabowski swam to a 18.97 in the men’s 50 freestyle. The 2025-2026 season is only the 7th season ever for the men’s swim program at Lynn.

Lynn added its men’s swimming program in 2018 and they began competing in the 2019-2020 season.  Since the program began, they have climbed up the NCAA rankings and notably finished tied for 10th at the 2025 Division II NCAA Championships.

Grabowski’s win marks the 15th first-team All-American in program history. The team only earned first team honors twice before last year when Gabowski earned first team honors four times while teammates Vitaly Kostina and Max Tsyfarov earned first team honors three times. Paul Melcer earned first team honors twice in 2025.

The senior Grabowski will look to make history once again later this week as he is also the top seed in the 100 backstroke with a 46.14 and the top seed in the 100 free with a 42.19.
