Georgia’s Kennedi Dobson showed out at UGA’s home dual on Friday vs Tennessee. After finishing 3rd in the 200 free (1:42.9), the freshman went on to win the 200 back (1:53.2) and 500 free (4:32.9), both wins marking personal bests. After the meet, Dobson said she’s been adjusting well to the workload in Athens, noting that this is her first time incorporating weight lifting into her training.

Not ruling out Cox whatsoever, but I wouldn’t be too surprised if she takes the NCAA title in the 500

She is a star! And she’s just a freshman! She’s so fun to watch in the pool. Swims smart and disciplined.
