Mollie O’Callaghan on World Cup: “Nice to mix things up and actually have fun with racing”

2025 WORLD AQUATICS SWIMMING WORLD CUP – Toronto

In one of her first times racing in the USA, Mollie O’Callaghan put together quite a body of work over the past 2 weeks. She broke the 200 Free world record twice, becoming the first woman to break 1:50 in the event and lowering the mark all the way to 1:49.33. The Olympic champion was relieved at the opportunity to race and learn from the best in the world, saying getting back into normal training this fall had been quite the slog.

I’m always shocked whenever I see her at the start. Her hands were visibly shaking.
