Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.
Crimson Aquatics’ Vivian Moulson has committed to the University of Wisconsin, joining the Badgers’ women’s program for the fall of 2026.
Moulson was featured in the “Best of the Rest” Section in SwimSwam’s ranking of the top 20 girls recruits in the class of 2026.
I am overjoyed to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Wisconsin! A huge heartfelt thank you to my family, friends, coaches and teachers for their incredible support on this journey. I also want to thank the entire coaching staff at Wisconsin for this amazing opportunity. Go Badgers!
Moulson recently competed at the Futures Championships in Madison (LCM), where she turned in a pair of top five performances; she finished 4th in both the 200 butterfly (2:17.17) and 400 IM (setting a new best time of 4:57.69). She also swam best times in the 200 breaststroke (2:39.13), and 100 fly (1:02.90).
Earlier this summer, Moulson finaled in four events at the Speedo Sectionals in Ocala (LCM). Her top placement came in the 200 fly, where she touched in 2:16.58, marking her fastest ever time. She added another best in the 200 Im, where her 2:20.31 finished 4th overall. She touched 6th in the 400 IM in 4:58.85, and rounded out her top eight swims with an 8th place finish in the 800 free (9:11.73).
The Andover, Mass., native threw down a number of notable lifetime bests at the Speedo Sectionals in Ithaca this past March (SCY); clocking 54.47 in the 100 fly, 1:50.07 in the 200 freestyle, 1:58.36 in the 200 fly, 2:14.81 in the 200 breast, and 4:14.65.
Best Times SCY:
- 200 IM: 2:00.37
- 400 IM: 4:14.65
- 100 Fly: 54.57
- 200 Fly: 1:58.36
- 200 Free: 1:50.07
- 500 Free: 4:52.76
- 1000 Free: 9:58.40
The Wisconsin women finished 4th at the 2025 Big Ten Swimming and Diving Championships a season ago. Based on Moulson’s best times, she would have qualified for the ‘C’ final in the 200 IM, and the consolation finals in the 400 IM and 200 fly.
The mix of IM and butterfly speed makes Moulson an intriguing prospect. She has set many of her bests within the last year, and will use the upcoming season to build on an already Big Ten Championship ready foundation.
Wisconsin finished only 14 points ahead of USC last season at Big Tens, and will need to continue to grow talent in order to potentially move up and avoid being taken over by a charging USC squad.
Wisconsin’s 2026 recruiting class includes Annika Curran, Ellie Kayser, Lilla Wilbur, Caroline Wanezek, Ainsley Stephan, and Taryn Weatherhead.
