Eccleston ke Alexander Sixsmith August me 6 logon ki team, Beach Hall Mencap Marvels ke part ke roop me challenge lenge.
Wo Mencap ke liye fund raise karenge, jo ak charity hai jo learning disabled ke liye kaam karti hai.
Alexander ne October 2024 me Liverpool Watersports Centre me swimming start ki thi aur apne formidable challenge se undergoing months tak rigorous training le rahe hain.
Isme unhe aur unki team ko world ke busiest shipping lanes me se ak me cold waters and strong currents ko face karna hoga.
Six-person relay team ki swim complete karne me 7 se 27 hours tak ka time lag sakta hai.
“I’m incredibly proud of Alexander,” Maa Suzanne ne kaha.
“Ye bahot badhiya hai ki baaki duniya ko ab wo dekhne ko mil raha hai jo main hamesha se jaanti thi, ki wo sach me ak hard-working resilient young man hai. Alexander and Mencap dono hi support deserve karte hain.
“Wo subah 6 baje uthkar school se pahle pool me jata hai aur phir school ke baad shaam 6:30 baje tak training karta hai,” Suzanne ne kaha.
Apni preparation ke part ke roop me, Alexander ne ‘Channel of North’ event me part liya, jo 22 mile ki overnight relay swim thi.
Isme Alexander ko cold and dark me apne goggles par light lagakar akele tairte huye dekha gaya.
Unhone ak baar me lagbhag 2 mile ki distance cover ki, team ne raat bhar baari-baari se swimming ki, jab tak ki six youngsters ki team ne English Channel ke barabar ki distance cover nahi kar li.
“Ye ak adult world hai, Channel ko tairne walon ke comparison mein Mount Everest par chadhne wale logon ki sankhya jada hai.
“Main sabko unke kind support ke liye thanks bolna chahta hun. Hum bas Mencap dwara kiye ja rahe amazing work ko support karna chahte hain.”
