FORT WORTH – The TCU swimming and diving team showed off their talent on Senior Day earning standout victories over Incarnate Word on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the University Rec Center.

The men secured an impressive 235-59 victory, while the women followed suit with a commanding 241-54 win.

IN THE POOL
The Horned Frogs kicked off the meet with dominant performances in both the men’s and women’s 200 medley relays.

For the women, the A-team of Rylee MooreClaire ChahbandourMaddy Burt, and Olivia Rhodes finished first with a time of 1:40.18, while the men’s A-team of Edgar CicanciJadon WuilliezNigel Forbes, and Peter Horton secured gold with a time of 1:26.40. These early victories set the tone for the meet.

Senior Jordan Edwards highlighted the women’s distance events with a victory in the 1000 freestyle, clocking in at 10:07.20. Rylee Moore followed up with an impressive win in the 100 backstroke, finishing at 54.96, and Morgan Gorel claimed second with a time of 57.02.

Olivia Rhodes impressed in the sprints, taking gold in the 50 freestyle (23.13).

The women’s team delivered another outstanding performance with a sweep in the 200 butterfly. Morgan Rodriguez claimed gold with a time of 2:03.77, followed by Inge Ehm in second (2:03.80) and Alessandra Senis in third (2:07.32).

On the men’s side, senior Jadon Wuilliez dominated the 100 breaststroke with a winning time of 53.95, while Nikola Koltin added points with his second-place finish at 55.19.
Geremia Freri led a sweep for TCU in the 200 butterfly, touching first in 1:45.84, followed by Viktor Hristov and Lior Mizrahi.

Luke Dimiceli was unstoppable in the sprints, securing gold in both the 50 freestyle (19.90) and the 100 freestyle (43.98). Filip Suchanski delivered a dominant performance in the 200 backstroke, winning with a time of 1:44.62 and leading another TCU sweep.

Milan Fabian capped a strong day with a win in the 500 freestyle, clocking 4:32.53, with Aaron Wilmes and Ioannis Skaris completing the podium.

The meet concluded with an outstanding win in the 400 freestyle relay. The men’s A-team of Fabian, Dimiceli, Wuilliez, and Elliott Jones clocked 2:58.05 to secure TCU’s final victory of the day.
ON THE BOARDS
TCU’s divers put on an exceptional display, sweeping both the men’s and women’s 1-meter and 3-meter events.

For the women, senior Anna Kwong captured gold in both events. She won the 1-meter dive with a score of 314.70 and dominated the 3-meter dive with a stellar score of 405.30. Teammates Lauren Cey and Jordyn Warner finished second and third in the 1-meter, while Emma Larcada Herrera claimed silver in the 3-meter with a strong score of 311.55.

On the men’s side, senior David Ekdahl led the way in the 1-meter dive with a stellar score of 399.00, followed by freshman Bryn James in second (363.98) and sophomore Elliott Dillon in third (351.45). In the 3-meter dive, Bryn James captured gold with an impressive score of 393.75, while Dillon and Ekdahl rounded out the podium in second and third, respectively.

The Horned Frogs will be back in action at the Sterkel Classic on Feb. 1 in Austin, Texas.
