Nicole Gautreau, a strong freestlyer over a wide range of distances, has signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of California – Santa Barbara.
Gautreau currently swims for southern California club Covina Aquatics Association and Glendora High School, meaning she’ll stay close to home to swim for the Gauchos in 2014.
She can swim anywhere from the mile down to the 50, with her best event likely being her 4:54.70 500 freestyle. She also holds top times of 1:52.44 in the 200 and 17:18.57 in the 1650.
