Hadleigh Henslee, a senior at Atascocita High School in Texas, has committed to Missouri State University.

Henslee qualified for the Texas High School State Swimming and Diving Championships in 2022, which took place in February. Henslee competes in multiple events and strokes, including the 100 breast, 100 fly, 100 back, and 200 IM.
Henslee also competes for Blue Tide Aquatics. She qualified and competed at the July 2022 Futures Championships in College Station, swimming the 100 back, 200 IM, and 50 free. She also swam in the 7th-place 400m free relay at the TXLA Speedo Southern Sectionals in Austin, swimming a 1:00.82 as the second leg.
Best short-course yards times:
- 50 free: 24.42
- 100 back: 56.59
- 100 breast: 1:06.45
- 200 IM: 2:05.06
Missouri State is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference. At the 2022 women’s MVC Swimming and Diving Championships, Missouri State won the title. At that meet and with her best times, Henslee would’ve made the B finals in the 200 IM and 100 back, and the C final in the 100 breast.
Henslee has the ability to immediately impact the team with top times for the season. Already, her best times would’ve made her the 3rd-fastest 100 backstroker and 100 breaststroker of the 2022-23 season so far.
The women’s team has won 3 dual meets this season, and lost 2. With a freestyle-dominant roster, Henslee could provide extra support in the various stroke events.
Henslee joins Cameryn Johnson, Claire Culberson, Grace Robbins, Olivia Sala, Kennedy Grosklaus, and Caitlyn Friebe in the class of 2027. About half of the commits, including Henslee, are from Texas, and only one is from Missouri.
