The 21st FINA World Junior Diving Championships To Take Place In Kazan

The FINA World Junior Diving Championships, an event held regularly since 1977 (first edition in Woodlands, USA), will see its 21st edition hosted in Kazan, Russia, next week from November 29-December 4.

The competition is returning to the recently-built state-of-the-art Aquatics Palace in Kazan – the venue which hosted the diving competition at the FINA World Championships back in 2015. The venue has welcomed various international diving events since then, such as legs of the prestigious Diving World Series.

Young divers will be competing in a total of 15 events in two different age groups: Group A 16, 17, 18 years old & Group B 14, 15 years old:

Tuesday 29/11

  • Final Boys 3m (Group A)
  • Final Girls 1m (Group B)

Wednesday 30/11

  • Final Girls 1m (Group A)
  • Final Girls 10m (Group B)
  • Boys 3m synchro (A/B)

Thursday 1/12

  • Final Boys 1m (Group B)
  • Final Girls 3m (Group A)

Friday 2/12

  • Final Boys 1m (Group A)
  • Final Boys 10m (Group B)
  • Girls 3m synchro (A/B)

Saturday 3/12

  • Final Boys 3m (Group B)
  • Final Girls 10m (Group A)

Sunday 4/12

  • Final Girls 3m (Group B)
  • Final Boys 10m (Group A)

The opening ceremony will take place on Monday November 28, when the mixed team event will also be held (detailed schedule).

National Federations can register a maximum of two divers for each individual event and one team only for the synchro events.
