TYR Sport signs World Championship Medalist Lindsay Vrooman

TYR Sport, the leading manufacturer of competitive swim and triathlon gear, is proud to welcome World Championship Medalist Lindsay Vrooman to its roster of sponsored swimmers.

Making waves at Indiana University, Lindsay became a Big Ten record holder and 2014 NCAA Woman of the Year Nominee during her time as a Hoosier. Placing second in the 1650y free at the 2013 major podium finishes at races like the

Turning heads at the 2015 World University Games, Lindsay won one gold and two silver medals for her swims in the 800m, 1500m and 400m free. That year she also championed both the 400m and 800m in the same stroke at the Phillips 66 Nationals.

A National Team Member since 2013, Lindsay now has her sights set on the world’s stage. This summer she plans to attend her second Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska.

“I’m incredibly excited to become a member of Team TYR,” said Lindsay. “ From a great group of fellow National Team members to an outstanding and supportive staff, there’s no brand I’d rather represent during the Olympic year.”
