Highlighting night three in Indianapolis at NCSAs was Madison Suchecki as she swam to a 4:49.32 in the 400 IM for the win. Suchecki entered the day with a lifetime best 4:52.16 from just two weeks ago that had sat at #65 all-time in the 13-14 age group. Her time today moves her all the way up to #30 all-time.
Suchecki also was 3rd in the 50 breast with a 32.79 as fellow 14 year old Emma Fouke earned the win in a 32.39. Fouke swam a lifetime best 1:09.68 in the 100 breast on day 2 to sit at #7 all-time for 13-14 year olds.
Also earning a top 100 all-time in the age group rankings was Kennedy Brooks as she swam to a 1:00.91 in the 100 backstroke. That moved her up to #32 in the 15-16 age group all-time. Brooks dropped 1.04 seconds off her entry time and won by a second and a half.
The boys side of the night was led by Benjamin Luginski as he won the 200 free in a 1:49.69 to win by almost two seconds. With his swim, the 17 year old Luginski moves into the top 100 all-time as he now sits t-82nd. Luginski entered the meet with a best time of a 1:50.89 and has dropped two seconds in the last year as he swam a 1:51.58 for 3rd at this meet a year ago.
The 200 fly came down to the final touch as 16 year old Teddy Peterson swam to a 2:02.55, touching just ahead of Dan Ginaitis who swam to a 2:02.58. Peterson has dropped four and a half seconds in the last year as he entered the season with a lifetime best 2:07.28. Also earning a win was Jacob Bougaieff who touched in a 28.67 in the 50 breast.
