The Assistant Swim Coach works under the direction of the Head Coach to assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate swim practices, mentoring student athletes, and fostering a safe, encouraging, and effective learning environment for primarily middle school aged swimmers.
This role emphasizes skill development, teamwork, proper technique, and athletic growth while prioritizing swimmer safety.
This position will also work with the coaching staff and membership to be a flagship leader in team communication and handling of club meet entries.
The team has 150+ full year USA Swimmers, 50+ Summer League swimmers, and a dozen “Learn to Swim” swimmers. Located out of Southwestern Pennsylvania, directly south of the city of Pittsburgh.
We are looking for a leader on the deck that can also take a role within the administrational duties of running the club.
