Thilda Haell on Louisville Team Culture: “The atmosphere’s been crazy”

Coming off of her freshman season, where she scored for the Cardinals at the 2026 NCAAs, Thilda Haell has kept her momentum rolling into the summer. The Swedish native broke her own 1500 free national record twice at the Pro Swim in Sacramento last weekend, ultimately winning the event in 16:25.99. Haell said the Louisville environment has made both training and racing a lot more fun while being in the United States.
