Responsibilities:
- Developmental Coach – athletes Age 6 – 12, beginning their swimming career
- Assist with 12 & U, Junior and Senior groups
- Masters Coaching – up to 3 sessions per week
- Event Support – WSAC is the host site for both Schroeder meets and for rental meets
Both hourly and full time compensation is competitive in the geographic area
Primary Facilities:
The Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center is an all-deep 8 lane x 50 meter facility was built in 1979
The Ramirez Aquatic Center is an all-deep 10 lane x 25 yard facility, separate teaching pool that was new in 2017
About the Schroeder Swim Team
The Schroeder program is renowned for developing an athlete’s character, for growing technical skill, and both team and individual success. The program is well organized and known across the country. Both athletes and coaches are surrounded by similarly motivated teammates in an environment that encourages each to “Be Great, Act with Integrity, Expect Success and that Places the Team First.” Novice athletes gain skill rapidly and get exposure to higher level competition. Schroeder is always well represented at the USA National and Junior National Swimming Championships. Schroeder is consistently a USA Swimming Silver Medal Club.
