Coleman Hodges
Coleman started his journey in the water at age 1, and although he actually has no memory of that, something must have stuck. A Missouri native, he joined the Columbia Swim Club at age 9, where he is still remembered for his stylish dragon swim trunks. After giving up on …

NIL and scholarship decisions by school has a huge impact on the transfer portal. You can be a great swimmer, a high point contributor for the team but if your school isn’t giving out a full roster of scholarships or there is no NIL money for swimmers, you have to look elsewhere. Couple that with coaches promising money and not keeping their word, swimmers have to look elsewhere.
I don’t think this will be a particularly fast meet… on the men’s side. For one, women need less of a taper to swim super fast, but also most of the top male swimmers’ programs looks incredibly loaded, and therefore more like that of a “practice meet” (especially the Texas swimmers bar Leon). World leading times for the men are very fast atm, and at a low-motivation meet (there is no prize money) I don’t see why they would go all out or even taper. Not to mention men’s NCAAs was a month earlier.
For the women it’s different, I think we may “see” a Ledecky or a Gretchen WR (I don’t think a Summer one is realistic here).
Glad we finally got another Breakdown! We haven’t gotten one since the NCAA previews, no NCAA review. I’ve missed you Coleman!
Brother your AI thumbnail made up a new kind of M.
For shame!
Ouf just saw it

I discussed it with the video team. We’ll drop the AI graphic going forward. We’ve got a great graphic designer so no reason to use AI for something that simple.

Thank you!

It’s meaningless without video.
A) Disagree.
B) we are working on it. Hopefully we will be able to livestream finals.
That would rock!
Thank you.
If any WRs are broken my guess it’s the W 100 fly or the 1500. Katie may also get the 800 WR but her 1500 seems to be better this season
yes. it’ll be interesting to see if Gretchen is in shape especially after her break!
Well she just did a 55.2 last month so it’s definitely possible
She went 24.9 50 fly in practice in her TikTok
I saw that too and she kinda make everyone guessing her time in that video
