Helenda Rosendahl Bach Wins 2nd Event on Day 3 of 2026 Danish Open

Day three of the 2026 Danish Open saw Helena Rosendahl Bach earn her 2nd event win in the women’s 400 IM final. She swam 4:48.74 to be the only swimmer under 5:00 in the event. This swim was about three seconds off her best of 4:45.83 from April of 2021.

The men’s 200 butterfly saw Denmark’s Lukas Peacock take the top time of 1:58.84 to be the only swimmer under 2:00 in the event. He finished ahead of Thomas Hoger‘s 2:01.11.

In the 50 backstroke, Denmark’s Emma Brogaard swam 28.72 to earn the win by one hundredth over Denmark’s Ida Jacobsen who swam 28.73. They both missed the Euros qualifying standard of 28.50.

Denmark’s Mathias Hald won the 1500 free in 15:46.36, touching four seconds ahead of Faroe Islands swimmer Liggjas Joensen, who was 15:52.27 for the silver medal.

In the men’s 100 free, Frederik Riedel swam 49.35, just edging out fellow Danish swimmer Lucas Linderot, who swam 49.88, for the gold medal.

The 50 breaststroke saw Denmark’s Shastine Tabor earn the win in 31.39, the only swimmer under 32 seconds. She beat Cecile Kehlet’s 32.02 for 2nd and Clara Rybak-Andersen‘s 32.36 for 3rd, both of whom swim for Denmark.

Finally, the women’s 200 freestyle went to Austria’s Iris Julia Gerger in 2:00.43. She touched more than two seconds ahead of Denmark’s Christiane Dreyer Riis, who swam 2:02.70 for the silver medal.
