26-year-old Olympic champion and world record holder Kristof Milak dove in again today, day four of the 2026 Hungarian National Championships, after capturing his second gold here last night.
Following up on his 50m fly podium-topping performance yesterday, Milak took on the men’s 100m fly this morning, where he claimed the top seed in a mark of 52.11.
Milak opened in 23.94 and closed in 28.17 to become the man to beat.
Behind him was 17-year-old David Antal, who clocked 53.26, with Richard Marton securing the 3rd-fastest time in 53.84.
Antal claimed bronze in the aforementioned 50m fly, producing a time of 23.67. That overtook Milak’s age record of 23.17 that he established in 2017, pairing this piece of hardware from the 200m fly gold he already earned.
As a refresher, these championships include prelims, semi-finals and finals of events 200m and below, which means Milak has this 1fly semi on tonight’s schedule. The versatile ace would have also had the final of the men’s 200m free, where he claimed the 9th-seed yesterday in 1:51.96. However, he has dropped that event, not appearing on the start list among the ten competitors.
That follows suit with how Milak also dropped the final of the 200m fly earlier in the competition.

50.93 in the 100 fly semi.
