Swimming Pool Me Dubki Apne Risk Par Lagayen BMC Admin. “Responsible Nahi”

Mumbai mein swimming pools ko lekar ek serious concern saamne aaya hai, jahan logon ko “apne risk par” pool mein utarne ki warning di ja rahi hai. BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) ne clear kar diya hai ki swimming pool mein hone wale accidents ke liye administration responsible nahi hoga.

Shehar ke kai public aur private swimming pools mein safety issues lagataar saamne aa rahe hain. Lifeguards aur basic facilities hone ke bawajood, maintenance ki kami, proper safety arrangements ka absence aur emergency support jaise ambulance ya medical equipment ki lack logon ki safety ko risk mein daal rahi hai.

Reports ke mutabik, kai jagahon par accidents, injuries aur even deaths tak ho chuki hain, jisse swimming pool management par sawal uth rahe hain. Kuch cases mein inexperienced lifeguards aur improper supervision bhi ek bada concern ban kar saamne aaya hai.

Iske alawa, private swimming pools par na fees ka proper control hai aur na hi strict safety regulations ka implementation, jis wajah se situation aur bhi problematic ho rahi hai.

Municipal Corporation ne Mumbaikars ke liye city aur suburbs mein 13 swimming pools provide kiye hain, lekin sabko apne hi risk par swim karne ko kaha gaya hai, aur kisi bhi accident ya mishap ke liye administration responsible nahi hoga.

Agar prescribed fee dene ke baad bhi swimmers ko lifeguards aur medical assistance available nahi hoti, toh phir unki safety ki responsibility kaun lega?

1 lakh 39 thousands se jada Mumbaikars ne swimming pools mein registration karaya hai. Isse students aur senior citizens ki safety ka issue uth khada hua hai. Municipal security guards ke hone ke bawajood bhi accidents ke incidents saamne aaye hain.

Public awareness ke liye PPP ka basis kya hai?

Swimmers ki sankhya badhane ke liye, municipality ne decide kiya hai ki 10 swimming pools ko private organizations ko Public-Private Partnership (PPP) ke through diya jaaye. Iske mutabik, Dadar-Wadala section ke pools ko chhod kar baaki sab pools private organizations ko handover kiye jaayenge. Is scheme ke under, organization aur municipal corporation ko profit ka aadha-aadha hissa milna tha. Halanki, municipal corporation abhi swimming pools ke maintenance par kaafi kharcha kar raha hai, lekin usse ise proper revenue nahi mil raha. Is wajah se ye swimming pools abhi loss mein chal rahe hain. Is backdrop mein, administration ne yeh confidence dikhaya tha ki PPP method dono ke liye beneficial hoga. Lekin abhi tak yeh scheme implement nahi hui hai.
