Remi Fabiani on Burnout before ASU: “I didn’t think I was going to make it through the season”

After winning his first relay title with ASU last night in the 200 free relay, 5th-year Remi Fabiani admitted that before coming to Tempe, he was having doubts about his swimming. But once he joined the Sun Devils, he started having the most fun he’d had swimming in over a decade.

Wow, this was fascinating to hear, especially from Fabiani. About what a difference it makes to move up to a hyper competitive team like this. And how he found it more FUN. He finds it fun to get to race guys in practice who are really going for it. I also liked that he spoke about the value of training with people who have different race styles.
