PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM:  To offer a safe and secure environment for your sons and daughters.  To provide excellent instruction and training with an emphasis in technique and skill.  To provide each swimmer a fun, exciting and enthusiastic environment to come to camp.

The summer aquatic programs at Navy are designed for competitive swimmers with a minimum of one season of experience in the sport.  We do not offer a learn to swim program.  Ages 9-18 welcome.  We will accept age 8 for Day & Extended Day camp options.

The process to register for a camp or clinic takes place online.  Priority is given to returning campers from the most recent camp season.  The next priority is given to those on the “early access” mailing list.  All remaining applications are reviewed and accpeted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Cancellation policy is stated on the APPLICATION page of this website.  Please review this in advance.

The applicaiton process opens each year in mid-December.  Camps & Clinics will sell out each year.  Space availability is posted on the UPDATE page of this website.

2026 Navy Swimming Camps – Sign Up Today

The purpose of our camp is to offer you with a unique and awesome environment to learn as well as develop your competitive strokes including all related starts, turns and finishes. Navy Swimming Camp is a stroke-intensive camp. You will receive individual attention. Additional training sessions are offered for those desiring to improve conditioning while at camp. Video analysis, dry land activities designed to improve individual fitness levels, performance, training, goal-setting and leadership presentations, are all part of a full schedule in 2026.

Campers will learn and train in an amazing environment at the Naval Academy. The two primary aquatic facilities to be used are Lejeune Hall; a 25 meter by 50 meter facility with separate diving tank, and Scott Natatorium in MacDonough Hall.

Extended Day and Commuter campers will arrive at the same time (0815) and place (Lejeune Hall pool deck.) DAY campers will stay with us through the second pool session and will be ready for pick- up at 1615. EXTENDED DAY campers will stay with us through dinner and the evening presentation. EXTENDED DAY campers will be ready for pick-up at 2015/2030.

ENROLLMENT

Resident camps are open to competitive swimmers who are nine years of age and older. Extended Day and Commuter camps areopen to all swimmers eight years of age and older. For the Stroke Camp, swimmers of most levels and abilities are welcome.  The NCAA prohibits all camps from limiting enrollment based on ability.  That said, each year we have several swimmers join us who have achieved high standards within USA Swimming.  If your camper has yet to participate for at least one season on a team and/or has limited competitive experience, then give us a call or email before registering your camper. NCAA rules allow graduated high school seniors to attend camp.

RESIDENT CAMPERS

Residential swimmers will stay in Bancroft Hall, the dormitory of the U.S. Naval Academy. Swimmers are requested to bring their own sheets,(regular twin), blankets and pillow for a single bed. Swimmers will be roomed two, three or four per room. The majority of rooms are triples.  We do not accept rooming requests by email.  Once registered, you will have the opportunity to submiot your rooming requests through a specific form.

Mature, experienced male and female chaperones provide supervision in the hall and provide fun evening recreational programs.

NOTE: Laundry service not available in Bancroft Hall.
