WEEK 2: JUNE 28th – JULY 1st

At Golden Goose Swim Camp, competitive swimmers aged 8-16 foster skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship under expert guidance. Join us for an unforgettable experience.

Our Philosophy

Golden Goose Swim Camp is dedicated to nurturing competitive swimmers aged 8-16. We emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a safe college campus environment, led by experienced staff for a fun learning experience.

Camp Director and Head Coach James Koval believes that a happy swimmer will be a fast swimmer, and also a lifelong swimmer.  At Golden Goose, proper stroke technique and long-term enjoyment of the sport are prioritized over short-term results and overtraining.  We want your swimmer to love our camp and to love the sport of swimming!

Our Staff

Camp Director James Koval was announced as the head coach of the men’s and women’s swimming programs in May of 2025.

Before coming to Washington College, Koval served as head coach of the Chatham University men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs from 2023 to 2025, growing the rosters of both programs while increasing their overall competitiveness.

Koval’s time at Chatham produced five individual Presidents Athletic Conference champions, and he was named 2025 PAC Women’s Swim Coach of the Year after the Cougar women nearly doubled their conference championship points total from the year prior.
