Before Natalie Coughlin was stepping and strutting on “Dancing with the Stars”, Nathan Adrian was swimming in syrup. On Mythbusters.
Adrian lives in Oakland and the Mythbusters team does the vast majority of their filming around the San Fransico Bay Area. He was, therefore, a perfect candidate for their swimming in syrup experiment.
When I worked for Finis, I actually lived right across the street from where Mythbusters liked to blow things up: in Dublin, California. I was lucky enough to get out of there before the notorious incident in which they shot a cannonboall through somebody’s wall.
