Kharun looks like he could squeeze out maybe another second on the back half. 7 strokes coming home vs 5 to 6 rest of the way. Could give Urlando a race at NCAAs…

We must remember that his freshman year his fastest time in the 200 fly was from a dual meet.

Sophomore year he went slower.

So it’s tough to predict how he’ll do even with incredibly fast swims this early in the season.

What ‘we must remember’ is this swim was 0.01 off his PB, which stands behind only PBs of Urlando, Conger and Albiero, as 4th fastest all-time.

Whether he goes much faster, or not, through the rest of the season is something we’ll just have to wait and give him the chance to determine.
